Outside School Hours Care (OSHC)
Nilma Primary School runs an OSHC program, providing both Before and After School Care.
Before School Care operates from 7am – 8.45am. After School Care operates from 3.15pm – 6pm. The service operates on each school day (excluding the last day of each term, closure days and some school excursion days). Days that the service is closed are advertised in the school newsletter.
The program accommodates up to 15 students per session for permanent and casual bookings. Bookings can be made through the Office or by texting the school mobile.
We use QikKids software to manage the daily and financial operations of the OSHC service.
Students are provided with a light breakfast during Before School Care (arrivals prior to 8am) and an afternoon tea during After School Care sessions. Activities are planned by our OSHC Supervisors to cater for students interests and strengths, focusing on social interactions and educational opportunities. Activities are experienced by students both outdoors and indoors, utilising the ‘STEAM’ Room (where the OSHC program is based) and our schools’ grounds and play equipment.
