Sustainability / Kitchen Garden Program

As part of our specialist program, students across the school, participate in a Sustainability session each week. Mrs Kristy Uren and Mrs Leanne Hodge work with each homegroup to provide hands on activities to enagage students with many facets of Sustainability, gardening and cooking. Students are working to develop sustainable and inspiring gardens within the school grounds. As part of the program students are involved in maintaining the gardens, planting and harvesting, cooking with the produce, and holding a vegetable store to sell their produce. Students have been involved in designing and constructing a range of sculptures, murals, garden beds and a wet land.
